Our 'Find an Electrician" search facility lists near 5000 electrical and communications businesses across Australia. To find your local electrician simply enter your postode into the spece provided, selecting any specific work requirements that you may have, then press search. A list of your nearest electrical businesses matching your requirements will then available for you to select from.

NECA South Australia strongly recommends that consumers seek written quotes from three registered electrical contractors. The quotes should clearly specify the work to be undertaken and the total cost of that work. Any variations to the scope and/or cost of the work should also be clearly stated in writing and agreed to beforehand.

Electrical Certificate of Compliance

On the completion of any electrical installation work the registered electrical contractor (electrician) is required to give the customer an Electrical Certificate of Compliancey (also known as a ECC Form) which certifies that the work has been carried out in accordance with the Electricity Act, Regulations and Australian Standards (ie AS/NZS 3000 and associated Standards).
