Hazard ID & Risk Assessment Training
As you would be aware Hazard ID and Risk Assessment is the pillar stone that underpins successful OHS management processes and is essential to comply with OHS legislative requirements. This will become even more important with the introduction of National OHS laws in 2012. As a consequence NECA SA successfully applied to Employers Mutual for funding to develop a Hazard ID & Risk Assessment Manual that includes an associated training program.
We are pleased to announce the completion of the Manual and invite you to attend a free training session designed to assist electricians and contractors to fully understand the Hazard ID and Risk Assessment process. The training is specifically designed to reflect the contents of the Manual and, in particular how to use in a practical sense, the recently developed Job safety Analysis/Safe Work Method Worksheet that should be acceptable at all worksites. The training session will provide attendees with the knowledge, skills and practical tools required to undertake Hazard ID and Risk Assessment to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the working environment.
Learn how to:
- comply with OHS legislative requirements
- involve employees and document the activity
- identify hazards relative for each hazard
- determine and document control measures to eliminate or reduce the risk
- reassess the risk of level for each hazard
- monitor and review the control measures
Attendees will also receive a copy of the NECA JSA/SWM Manual.
