2011 NECA Gala Dinner
SAVE the DATE....
Friday 12 August 2011, Adelaide Convention Centre
The highlight of the calendar for our industry, the event will take on a new format this year with even more opportunities for members to network and mix with peers and industry representatives, as well as the chance to enjoy a great night out with fantastic food and wine and some high quality guests and entertainment.
For those who would like to know more, the evening starts with pre-dinner drinks from 6:30pm in the Convention Centre Foyer, which will feature our sponsors up in lights like never before. In this forum, you will have the chance to mingle and network with peers, industry and our sponsors before you are guided through to the main dinner hall to be seated for a sumptuous three course meal, where you will be waited on all evening.
Whilst you are enjoying the dinner and beverages, we announce the winners of the 2011 Apprentice Awards with Master of Ceremonies, Troy Grey.
After another break with more indulgences, the evening leads on with the 2011 Excellence Awards, which is where our members will be rewarded for their achievements and where we get the chance to see some of the work undertaken by both small and large South Australian companies.
With projects such as the Adelaide Zoo Panda Exhibit, Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance, Glenelg Tram Overpass and the I-Commute Busses all nominated for awards this year, you will no doubt see some outstanding work and challenges overcome by those in our industry.
I would like to thank all of those who have nominated projects and apprentices for being involved and for making the most of what is a great opportunity to be rewarded for your achievements, in addition to being a great way of promoting your business to the industry, so well done!
For those new to the event and possibly to NECA, I would like to highlight just how fantastic this event really is, and encourage you to come along and enjoy a great night of networking, hospitality and entertainment. Even if you do not have a project or apprentice nominated in the awards, we still want to see you there. Ultimately, this is your event, put together by your industry association, and so why not make the most of your membership and this opportunity to network with members and industry.
So, book early and mark the date in your diary now. Remember, you may regret later if your contractor mates are there but you are not!
