Occupational health and safety ('OH&S') is a responsibility of all employers and employees under the Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act 1986 ('OHS&W Act'). In particular, the OHS&W Regulations 1995, Section 1.3.4 - Information, Instruction and Training, states that "an employer must, in relation to the implementation of these regulations, ensure that an employee receives suitable and adequate information, instruction and training for any task that he or she may be required to perform at work."

In alliance with this regulation and building on the processes established through the NECAsafe OH&S Manual, NECA SA is pleased to introduce our most recent OH&S resource - the NECA Toolbox Talks.

Designed to assist contractors meet their obligations under the OHS&W Act 1986, the easy-to-use training resource contains 100 industry relevant toolbox talk discussion topics under the following categories:
