Rescue and Resuscitation Training
Your Requirements
Electrical workers should be aware that it is mandatory for electrical workers to be competent in rescue and resuscitation in accordance with section 29 of the Electricity (General) Regulations 1997. This regulation prescribes that "persons required to carry out, or help carry out, electrical work must be suitably trained in rescue and resuscitation in accordance with recognised practices within the electricity industry".
The course available to meet these requirements, is the Rescue and Resuscitation course, which NECA SA were involved in developing, and which has also been run exclusively through PEER Training since early 2005. The course contains several components specific to the electrical working environment including of course resuscitation accreditation.
