Horizon Power launches Smart Connect Solar in Carnarvon

Horizon Power is working to increase rooftop solar adoption by updating DER Technical Requirements, removing hosting capacity restraints in most networks. This initiative brings significant benefits to Carnarvon by overcoming past solar capacity limitations. 

Members who work in the Carnarvon region should ensure they are up to date with the technical requirements and application process for this new program.

The application to connect solar has changed. For Smart Connected towns, your customer will need to provide you a Smart Connect Solar reference number - so you can submit their application to connect. They can generate this number through MyAccount online. Click here to view the updated application form.

If you haven't already - please ensure you complete Smart Connect Solar training, via the Clean Energy Council. You'll need this accreditation to install Smart Connect Solar on Horizon Power's networks.
